I have been Married for 32 years to Jasper. We have two children , Joseph is 25 and lives at home with us. He is autistic and diabetic so much of our time is devoted to him. Joey is such a joy I can’t imagine my life without him. Our youngest son is Nicholas, he will be 24 in May. He is an electrician and last year he bought a house not to far from us, here in South Lebanon. Nick keeps me sane. He has our “grand dog” Rocky. I am an Early Intervention Program Assistant for Warren County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. I work with children birth to three years old that have developmental delays, I love my job. I got involved with MRDD right after Joey was diagnosed, I wanted to learn as much as I could to help my son. They finally trained me and gave me a job, I’ve been there ever since. It is not the direction I thought my life would take, but sometimes the unplanned trips are the best. There’s not a lot of excitement in my life, but I have a great family and good friends…..Life is good..-Thelma Halcomb Shepherd

Thelma, it's Bonnie. I have to say,"YOU ARE MY HERO". I miss your face. I can't wait to see you.
Bonnie
PS Maybe we'll sneak off to the river, like when we were kids. HA HA
