Unfortunately, I've missed many birthdays, but I would love an opportunity to do better. Let me begin by wishing a great big, happy birthday to Sandy, who has apparently become a "southerner" since I last chimed into the reunion site. I actually have an October memory of you, Sandy. When we were still in our early grade school years, we really didn't know each other very well, but we both attended the same little Nazarene Church in South Lebanon. Our Sunday School Teacher invited us all to her house for a Halloween Party. Of course, we were all to dress up. I took great pains with my costume, and came as an Indian Maiden complete with a papoose...(one of my dolls wrapped in a blanket, and tied behind my back with a jump rope). I realize now that an Indian Maiden should not be toting a Papoose, and nobody bothered to tell me, but I digress. The point is that I was quite impressed with the ingenious way that you utilized your personal attributes to come up with your costume. You had your strawberry hair all teased up on the top of your head, bright blue eye shadow had been generously applied to your eye lids making them pop. You finished your attire with a flowing gown. You were very shy, and barely spoke except to advise who your character was, whenever asked. Do you remember? Your character was Andora, Samantha's mother on the Bewitched sitcom that was so popular at the time. Well done.
PS ...and now that I've shared this little story, could somebody tell me how in the heck do you spell Papoose? lol Love, Bonnnie
