I feel so out of place. It's like I'm the only one from KM. Is it okay for me to be here? Okay, where to start on my update. I've lived in the Cleveland area for 23 years. Winters aren't fun, but otherwise, I like it here. I was married for 22 years, had a son (Nathan) who is now 27, and a daughter (Sarah) who is 25. Sarah just got out of the Navy, and moved to Phoenix. For some reason, she feels she'll like the weather better there than in Cleveland. Nathan is a pilot in the Air Force. He's married, and they're living in Italy. Their first child is due in August. I'm way too young to be a grandfather. Anyway, as I said, I WAS married for 22 years. I got divorced 6 years ago, and remarried Kay (2 years in June). Very, very cool lady! I can not fathom why, but she loves me. With that marriage, I gained 3 stepsons and 3 grand daughters. (and a few pounds)Life is good! The only person from our class that i have maintained a really close friendship with (we talk monthly) is one of you all. Bill Doughman. He hasn't changed. He's still nuts! Anyway, I'll send him this website so you can all catch up. BTW, Great website Chuck! Really good idea. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading everything in here. See you all soon! Hey Tom,..
Great to hear from you... YES -- you belong here! It's a KINGS HIGH - 1971 website and message board.. So far we have had more So Lebanonites responding... but I am sure that will change once the word gets out.
You are an honorary So Lebanon kid.. You earned that from your tenure at the Leisure Time Drive In. I went by the LT on an Ohio trip a few weeks ago.. It's sad.
Something about a late night pool party at your house.. after work at the Leisure Time.. is in the back of my mind. Know anything about that?
Chuck

Tom, This is Connie. You're not the only one from Kings Mills Elementary. Everyone that I have talked to has been from South Lebanon Elementary. I guess I will have to get out my annual from school, and put some names with faces. I haven't been to any of the reunions, so it is hard for me to remember people, so I will refresh my memory by going through my annuals. Maybe more will get on soon. I wondered if anyone else from Kings Mills Elementary was going to the reunion. Carol said she would let me know after the next meeting. I think the meeting is the 22nd. Maybe I will hear from her soon. Connie

Hi Connie! It has been many years! i don't think I've seen you since graduation. You mention looking at the yearbook to put faces to names....I was just looking at the pics that Chuck downloaded, and I am amazed at the number of classmates that I don't remember. Could this be an age thing? Looking forward to seeing you. Tom

Hi Gang,
It's Bonnie Again. Hi Connie and Tom. I am so glad you have joined the web site, as I have Tom and Connie memories as well. Tom sat across from me in Mrs. Brown's Freshman English class. We had some fun conversations. Which one afternoon resulted in an arm-wrestling match over a pencil. At some point in the midst of the horse-play, I was accidentally stabbed in the forearm with the pencil making a huge puncture mark. It was quite painful, but Tom was more horrified than I was. I have long-since forgiven him. No hard-feelings Tom, but I'll be bringing my pencil to the reunion. HA HA HA!! Connie and I became aquainted in Miss Winn's Home Ec. class. We became instant Home Ec Buddies. We learned to knit together....some very strange looking things. HA And we made resentful comments to each other about having to clean the kitchen after the Seniors. I believe Connie was present the day, that Miss Winn offered to ring my neck for me...how rude...HA HA. I remember when Connie got her first pair of contact lenses. She sat in Home Ec. red eyed and teary fighting the good fight for beauty's sake. I promised myself on the spot, that I would eat more carrots. HA HA HA I can't wait to see you both!!!! Has anyone heard from Glada Simpson, or Ruth Thomlinson..?...they were two more of my Kings Mills favorites. Bonnie

Bonnie, It was good seeing you on the web- site. You brought back some memories from school. I remember Miss Wynn's Home Ec. class, too. You got a good memory. Mine, isn't so good. HAHA. Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.
